Public bug reported:

If i press ctrl+alt+f1-6, the system appears to freeze up--the mouse
does not move, and text entered does not update the display. I can press
ctrl+alt+f7 to get back to GDM, however, after which the system behaves
normally.

Sometimes, after switching to a text-mode virtual console, the frozen
GDM screen does something odd, such as shifting a few inches to the
side.

I'm using fiesty with the 'nv' xorg module.
