Whereas all the streams previously mentioned in this report do seem to work
fine for me, these ones do lag my Amarok UI:

I have the same problem. But xine-lib-1.1.8 didn't fix this issue for
me.

Updating to a more recent version of xine seems to fix it, now using
xine-lib-1.1.8.
