Public bug reported:
Clicking on the update button in the UpdateManager fails with Edgy distribution
and
default sources.list if update-manager-core is not installed/up to date. Error
messages
say to use apt-cdrom to add cdroms and also various archives. The real problem
is
that update-manager-core must be installed/up to date. The documentation only
mentions
the need to install the latest update-manager.
