Verified using mini.iso from precise-proposed, booted with apt-
setup/proposed=true to get the new installer component. The volume group
name is used with "-vg" suffix, and alternative vg names are requested
if clashing one is specified (either via preseed, or in expert mode).

now and be available at http://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/partman-
auto-lvm/42ubuntu2.3 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed
repository.

The simple solution to this bug is to preseed: "partman-auto-lvm/new_vg_name"
with a sensible name.
Nonetheless, I will make auto-generated vg name to be more safe.
