duplicate of bug 1058884, so it is being marked as such. Please look
Fixed this by going to synaptic, searching for installed 'python', and
reinstalled all of them. Consequently, this also fixed a similar
problem with Miro.
This problem is most likely specific to this one circumstance due to
system crash. Feel free to mark this as some sort of non-issue.
