Public bug reported: Using the mapserv program from the cgi-mapserver in Ubuntu 12.04 from the command line
/usr/lib/cgi-bin/mapserv -nh "QUERY_STRING=..." > /tmp/foo gives me a jpeg file as output, BUT it has en extra two lines at the top Content-type: image/jpeg This means that the output file is not valid jpg and eg gimp and eog refuse to display it. I thought that the '-nh' flag to mapserv was supposed to prevent the headers from being output? See http://mapserver.org/cgi/mapserv.html Is something I havent understood, a bug in mapserv version 6.0.1 , or something to do with how Ubuntu have packaged this program? ** Affects: mapserver (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1101121 Title: mapserv -nh flag does not disable all headers To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mapserver/+bug/1101121/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
