I see there has been no comments since the first of the year on this
bug. I currently have this issue on Ubuntu 8.04 on my Dell Inspiron
1300. I have tried all the xorg.conf entries and they seem to have no
effect. To fix the issue I do a reboot and everything comes back and is
fine. It's a lit
after spending COUNTLESS hours trying to research this, i never found a
solution that really worked for me. (some did partial/temp fixes)
anyways; I have a asus mb, amd x2 64x, nvidia 7300GS, and with the same known
problem: "title bar missing after beryl/compiz finished loading".
**note: in man
I get this problem too, then I open a terminal and I run "compiz". With
this the titles bars come back, but you have to leave the terminal open
or it kill the compiz process (even with compiz & the process get back
in fore ground ).
