Is this still an issue? It seems I can touch things on my x86 laptop just fine in software-center. Perhaps an issue with GTK+ on ARM or another related dependency? If it's still an issue, and we should bother fixing, please re-open and move to a more appropriate core package that is related to

Other software responds to touch. And I changed the title of this bug to be less misleading. The buttons in software-center do respond. They accept the touch event and appear depressed. But the view doesn't change. So maybe it's more of an armhf issue than a touch event issue, since the app
