Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

If I plug an USB flash disk the disk is mounted but I'm not able to see
the icon on the desktop

If I'm going in the gconf-editor to the entry /apps/nautilus/desktop and
I flag the option volumes_visible, the icon of the USB flash disk is
visible, but all the disk/partitions of my system will be visible as
well.

So, the question is: it is possible to have visible only what I plug
(eg. USB flash disk or Camera) and not all my media on the desktop?

** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
