Binary package hint: audacity
When playing a WAV sound file in AUDACITY, sound goes out with "skips" (like a
broken CD) from time to time.
I tested the same file in WINDOWS and other players (in Linux totem, sweep,
ardour) and no skips heard.
Tried ALSA, OSS and JACK drivers but get the same
I am running Ubuntu 7.04 with a VIA 82C686 A/B rev21
P3 500MHz
384MB RAM
