I agree, I user Ubuntu Feisty and switched to Hardy lately and this bug came to me as a non-sense. I'm also having trouble with Nautilus and authicated Samba shares. Things like that, that used to work well, should not be broken in the latest release. -- The auto.net script that comes with auto

Ouch; yoyoq is right. The new version 4.1.4+debian-2.1ubuntu2 is in the pool, but it's not listed in any of the hardy Packages file; I've looked in all of them (hardy, hardy-proposed, hardy-backports, hardy-security). I didn't notice this because I pulled the .deb and installed it by hand to test

I just want to bump this, as I tried the package 4.1.4+debian-2.1ubuntu2 by manually installing it on my Hardy installation (using Ubuntu Studio 8.04) and it doesn't fix my problem to use autofs /net. I also tried to use the defaut hardy autofs package and patch /etc/auto.net file manually then
