Public bug reported:

I am running 12.04 32 bit PAE on a Dell Latitude E6420 with 4 GB RAM and
a 120GB SSD.

After the kernel was updated to 3.2.0-35 I found there was a persistent
kernel panic during the boot process. Please see the attached
screenshot. This problem continued after updating the kernel to
3.2.0-37.

Using the 3.2.0-29 kernel, the laptop boots fine.

The error message seems to reference the snd_hda_intel module.

I cannot collect the requested info as per the guidelines as I cannot
boot the problem kernels, but let me know if I can gather the
information in another way. I have also attached the output of lshw in
case that might be useful.
