Should have posted this a while ago sorry, but ... I started having more serious mouse problems so I bought a usb-PS2 adapter. Since then I have seen no more problems. I deuce from this that the problem is either hardware or software related around the PS2 port. Given that no-one else seems to

Hi I have Linux Mint Felicia (AMD 64 with 32 bit) on one box and Hardy (AMD 64) on another. Hardy seems to behave really well but both Intrepid and Felicia have started kernel panics which affect my KVM (Edimax EK-UAK44). I bought the new KVM as it sends constant signals to each PC whether in

Have you tried with a different mouse? This bug was reported a while ago but there hasn't been any recent comments or updates. Is this still an issue with the latest pre-release of Jaunty 9.04? Refer to http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/jaunty/beta . Please let us know. ** Changed in: linux

I have tested using the Alpha5 LiveCD. The problem remains. There is a little more to say though... I have changed to a newer KVM switch (to use a higher display resolution - nothing to do with this problem). The problem has become intermittent now but otherwise I can't spot any difference.

The Ubuntu Kernel Team is planning to move to the 2.6.27 kernel for the upcoming Intrepid Ibex 8.10 release. As a result, the kernel team would appreciate it if you could please test this newer 2.6.27 Ubuntu kernel. There are one of two ways you should be able to test: 1) If you are comfortable

Thanks George. Feel free to go back to using the Gutsy kernel. The Hardy Heron Alpha2 LiveCD will be coming out within days and will contain the newer 2.6.24 kernel. Any further testing can be done via the LiveCD. If you can, once the Alpha2 LiveCD is available, care to run it and capturing
