Public bug reported: Feisty running on a ibm-thinkpad. Have rhythmbox (0.10.0) installed, as well as gstreamer plugins (extra, good, bad and ugly, multiverse and normal)
When playing m4a files in rhythmbox (streamed off of mp-daapd server) I get an error, and when trying in totem-gstreamer(directly from disc), it says the right codec isn't installed, although gstreamer bad multiverse should contain the right codec. If saying yes to the offer to look for the right codecs, it shows me the already installed packages gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly, gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg and gstreamer0.10 -plugins-bad-multiverse). I have tried reinstalling gstreamer and all related packages, but the problem is still there. The same files played fine under edgy. regards IndriĆ°i ** Affects: gstreamer (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- rhythmbox doesn't play m4a https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/112401 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
