Try to switch to GPL Ghostscript using the commands
sudo apt-get install gs-gpl
sudo update-alternatives --config gs
and select gs-gpl in the menu which appears. Does this solve your
problem?
If you cannot print any more now, either switch back to ESP Ghostscript
with
sudo update-alternatives
