I have Microdia 0c45:62c0 webcam that works with uvcvideo driver in
Ubuntu Gutsy. Maybe you should try to use this driver?

62c0 cam seems to be working but mine is 60c0 and it has image senos mi0360
and bridge chip sn9c105R... And it doesn't work or i simply couldn't make it
work... :(

I can confirm that Microdia webcam 0c45:62c0 does work on Gutsy and
Hardy (Alpha 4) with Cheese 2.21.5. This is just a sidenote since it
doesn't help the folks with the 0c45:613b webcam.

Sorry but i must say that it's not case with my camera. :-( As i said my
camera doesn't work with gspca driver...
Tried whole a lot of things to make it work but it appears it doesn't work.
Anyway i joined microdia group on groups google. We are trying to make
driver that will work with microdia.
I've got the same problem here it's gutsy using msi starcam 370i
lsusb: 0c45:60c0 Microdia
Picture i get is same as the one up there...

I have exactly the same problem, camera is detected correctly but is
displayed ani image similar to the one posted by Gustavo
Using ubuntu Feisty 7.04.

i can confirm this i have the same cam, and i get a yellow border with
white image
