Thank you for taking the time to report this issue and helping to make Ubuntu better. Examining the information you have given us, this does not appear to be a bug report so we are closing it and though it could have been converted to a question in the support tracker. We understand the difficulties you are facing, but it is better to raise problems you are having in the support tracker at https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu if you are uncertain if they are bugs. You can also find help with your problem in the support forum of your local Ubuntu community http://loco.ubuntu.com/ or asking at https://askubuntu.com or https://ubuntuforums.org. For help on reporting bugs, see https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs.
With a forced-shutdown (ie. power dies) it's common to need a `fsck` (file-system check) which I usually perform using 'live' media (eg. Ubuntu/Lubuntu install media), then on reboot usually everything is back to normal. You would have likely got this advise quickly if you'd asked a question, instead of reporting it as a bug. I'm marking it invalid due to age today. ** Changed in: lubuntu-meta (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1133452 Title: DE messed up since computer ran out of battery mid-use To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lubuntu-meta/+bug/1133452/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
