I think we were able to find the change that broke this. Looking at the
changelog, this is the only webcam change that came between -23 and -25:
--- linux-3.5.0.orig/drivers/media/video/uvc/uvc_video.c
+++ linux-3.5.0/drivers/media/video/uvc/uvc_video.c
It looks like this change was submitted
