Hi guys,
I have similar issues with a HP dv7 6090ef laptop but I have a workaround.
The issues appeared after I upgraded to 13.04.
How to reproduce:
When I start the computer I have sound in speakers.
When I plug headphones into one of te two front headphone jacks I have no sound.
WORKAROUND: I s
I have been able to confirm both the problem and the solution put
forward by Raymond.

Sorry, didn't have time to fix it up. Downgraded to 12.10, way too many
