texttopdf crashes while printing on ubuntu 11.10

Actually two issues are involved here, a corrupt pdf is generated for
certain utf-8 title-parameters (where the filename is passed in), and,
when 'prettyprint' is enabled, a texttopdf assertion fails('crash'),
when different utf-8 ranges are used in the title.
Both are fixed in bazaar revision 704
lpr_command, error_log and doc used for testing.
