+1 i agree wholly with mr. anderson.
I had to do some monkeying with it to get to run after downloading the
3rd party package; so it might need some work, but im sure than building
from scratch.

The packaging itself is actually kinda done already:
deb http://hendrik.kaju.pri.ee/ubuntu feisty screenlets
MOTUs probably wouldn't have to do too much work to make this happen...
Also, I second (third?) the motion, as screenlets + Compiz makes for
some sweet [functional/useful] eye candy.

+1 for me. I would rather install it from the distro than from an
unsupported 3rd party repo.
