I didn't make myself clear, when I wrote I build a custom kernel, what I did was that I built a custom kernel from the ubuntu kernel source with this patch applied, using the debian tools. I am right now running that kernel, and the patch is the only difference from the ubuntu 2.6.20.3 kernel so
