My issue with Kernel 3.8.0.13 is that it makes ubuntu boot to "BLACK
SCREEEN". I have 'Intel Corporation 4 Series Chipset Integrated
Graphics Controller (rev 03)'. I cannot confirm if it effects the
resolution because I just have black screen to deal with.
I reverted back to the older Kerner 3.8.

Same problem after the latest kernel image update (3.8.0-13). My native
resolution 1366x768 on my Asus laptop defaults to 1024x768.
If I revert to previous kernel image (3.8.0-12) the issue disappears.
