The only change necessary seems to be to add to setup.py
'reportlab.graphics.barcode'
between
'reportlab.extensions' and
'reportlab.graphics.charts'
At least that worked for me when I downloaded the 2.0 package. I don't know if
that fixes the package problem, though.

The current release has been in Ubuntu since July of last year. Any
idea when they are planning a new release? If you would pull the change
for this out of the upstream svn, we can fix it for Gutsy if no new
release is expected in time.
