Couldn't it just pull a thumbnail over the net.. so you wouldnt have to ship
the actual pictures.
Example.. the same way a link to the homepage is display a thumbnail can be
done so too. And if we are worrying about bandwidth i suggest we just rurn
it off by default as to not to annoy persons with

It is too big of an effort to implement thsi. The maintainer looked into
this this morning and stated what i just stated. Im sorry but it will
not happen atleast at this point in time.

I agree this could be a nice featurebut only if it was able to be
toggled on and off and set off as default as it can make synaptic
extreamly slow IMO.
