Samsung Q35 - sound stops when adjust volume using keyboard volume control keys

You received this bug notif
I've installed all the available updates so that my kernel is now up to
date. When I first restarted, the squeal sound reappeared and the volume

I had the same problem until I recently upgraded to kernel 2.6.20-16
where the problem seems to be fixed. I can now freely adjust my volume
without my sound dying. I'm also on a Samsung Q35 btw, running Feisty

Please comment out or remove the line from /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base
that you added, then reboot. Check if the symptom still occurs. We
need to establish from a fresh boot whether you need a probe_mask
parameter.
