I wanted to add a note, that reverting this patch to fix the display
issues, causes the segfault issue to return. In particular zooming on
Kicad pcbnew can crash Xorg with the AMD fglrx driver. I confirmed that
fbBresSolid() was the source of the segfault. I re-applied the original
fbBresSolid()

Anyways, this bug is clearly not in shimmer-themes but in either Xfwm4
or Xorg, so marking invalid for shimmer-themes. (Note: even the default
included Xfwm4 theme exposes this issue)

Does this problem still exist? It has been fixed in Trusty meanwhile, so
maybe the fix also landed in 12.04 in some form of update.

Oh great, so they backported the problem from 12.10 to 12.04... :(
Basically that means we have to release a bugfix version for 12.04 with
Greybird's xfwm4 theme from 12.10.
