I have been getting a red triangle with an exclamation mark and I click
it I get this message. Ubuntu 13.10

I have seen this message for a few days.
I see two problems here:
1. The user clicks try again because they think it might fix the
problem and actually find updates. Because of the message Check your
Internet connection, the user thinks it is a problem on their end. They
probably think that
Opened up Terminal and did a manual update to see which PPA's were
getting errors then went to Software Updates - Other Software then
removed the PPA that was failing in Terminal. Didn't get the error
again.

I've tried running it multiple times on my desktop and laptop and get
the same error but not certain if it is getting 100% of the updates from
my Other Sources either.

Same problem and, like brianbridge, I'm not sure whether I am getting
all the updates when I press OK. Any other temporary way around this
one?

I've been getting this for a while as well. I've still been able to
install updates like Adam, but always get the error message. I wonder if
I'm getting all the updates I'm supposed to?

I've been having this issue as well. When can we hope to see a fix for
it? Will the fix be released before Saucy Salamander or come with the
upgrade for Saucy Salamander?

I have been getting this too for the past few days.
And I also click 'OK', which then brings up the software updater as
normal and I can install updates (if available)
