This bug still exists in 14.04 LTS: only the first half of the Debian
patch (handle-equals-signs.patch) was applied. Manually applying the
rest of the patch to /usr/bin/geninfo makes the bug go away.

Downloaded it and problem disappears, I am using 13.04 with gcc 4.7.3
It is not fixed in lcov 1.10, this fix is not yet released by lcov as I
understand
