Hi there. Fix Committed in Ubuntu means that either the fix is available
in -proposed or an upload is going to be made soon. Of course, this
applies to packages in the Ubuntu repository, not packages in PPAs and
so on. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Status for more details.
As I cannot find any

I experience the same bug. However, I am not using a Gmail but a private
server.
I currently have no other account configured. I had before, but I completely
removed the local folder (rm -R ~/.local/share/geary) and reconfigured Geary
with the single account. However, the bug was still present
Yes, I did have two gmail labels:
[Gmail]/Sent Mail
[GMail]/Sent Mail
Note: both labels were different from the "Sent Mail" folder.
I have no idea where they come from. I can only surmise that in my endless
search for a good email client, one of them glitched and created those.
I removed both o
I think I see the problem: you have one IMAP folder named [GMail] and
one named [Gmail] (note the different case on the M). Not sure how that
would happen. In my gmail account, [Gmail] with lower m is the name for
that folder. I'm also not sure how you'd rectify the situation without
risking del

That's no problem. I'll attach your log to our redmine ticket as well,
just so when we start looking into this, we have fewer clicks to get
everything we need. :)
It makes sense that it's only the one account with the issue. UID

It has been 10mn+ now, so it is very likely that geary dos NOT crash if I
remove this account.
How can I help you debug this?
If there isn't any other solution, I am willing to give access to this
particular gmail account to a yorba employee if it can help.
Anyway, I am super-happy as I can fina
I'll pursue here as the discussion has already started here (unless it
is more convenient for you if I continue on yorba's redmine)
I tried removing every other account and I still get:
** (geary:26079): ERROR **: imap-engine-generic-folder.vala:131: UID
validity changed: 596398238 -> 596398376
Interesting, I don't think we've ever seen this with gmail before! I'm
not the IMAP expert here, so it's hard for me to say why your sent mail
would be triggering this reliably.
If you remove all other accounts from Geary, I assume it still happens?
Could you please remove the other accounts, the
I selected "gmail" in the "services" drop-down, for all accounts;
If I run geary --debug, I don't really see a server name there, but I get
imap-engine-generic-folder.vala:444: Opening remote Gmail account

And it is retrieving my emails successfully so I think the server is o
Can you tell us what mail server you're connecting to?
By the way this is ticketed upstream here:
