Confirmed in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. Package `python-paramiko` must still be
installed separately. If it's an optional plug-in then maybe having some
`duplicity-` dummy packages would be useful with better error
messages telling you what to install.

I certainly did not install python-paramiko on Ubuntu 11.10, and duplicity
worked without problems using the same setup, i.e. running over ssh.
So I assumed that it should also work on 12.04, and that something

Are you sure the python-paramiko package is installed? It's an optional
dependency of duplicity because it only needs it for ssh backends.
