while trying to find out the output of "apt-cache policy pkgname", it resulted
in
N: Unable to locate package pkgname
I upgraded from 12.10 to 13.04 (not fresh, just upgrading online). there
was no error message during upgrade process. after that, clicking on
alsa mixer icon does not result in anything. while replying to this,
consider me novice in handling linux.
