It has been corected already in libexif 0.6.13-6 Debian unstable (Tue,
08 May 2007). From debian changelog: " *

segfault when rotatin
I just bought an Olympus mju 770 and I can confirm that I cannot save rotated
images
in neither eog nor gthumb (both die with SIGSEGV), apparently because of this
bug in libexif12f_0.6.13-5ubuntu0.2 which has been corrected upstream, at least
in current 0.6.16, probably already 0.6.15.
Running
I could reproduce the crash on up-to-date Feisty with the image
attached here
