I've been following up on this at the Lubuntu QA mailing list and it
appears that this effects both Lubuntu and Xubuntu at least as far back
as Oneiric.
I'm not suggesting that Brian change anything regarding this report yet,
but I plan on following up further in Saucy ... it's

This doesn't seem worth an SRU alone however, if there is another one
for ubuntu-release-upgrader I'll throw in a fix for this.
