I went to intellinuxgraphics.org to compile the lastest intel drivers
and I read this from the documentation:
3.1 Agpgart
To compile agpgart, you must recompile kernel.
Note: from kernel 2.6.20, agpgart can only build into kernel rather than
building as modules.
Feisty comes with a 2.6.
The Ubuntu Kernel Team is planning to move to the 2.6.27 kernel for the
upcoming Intrepid Ibex 8.10 release. As a result, the kernel team would
appreciate it if you could please test this newer 2.6.27 Ubuntu kernel.
There are one of two ways you should be able to test:
1) If you are comfortable
WiNeOS, you didn't clarify if you did or did not install updated drivers
from the intellinuxgraphics.org site.
