I am seeing occasional error messages in my nginx log:
2013/04/30 23:07:37 [crit] 6674#0: *828 crypt_r() failed (2: No such file or 
directory), client: <SNIP>, server: <SNIP>, request: "POST /RPC2 HTTP/1.1", 
host: "<SNIP>", referrer: "<SNIP>"

After some quick searching, I figured out that this bug was fixed upstream in 
1.2.7:
http://nginx.org/en/CHANGES-1.2

My server is currently set up to require authentication to be used at
all, so this bug is triggered more or less every time I use it. It'd be
great if the patch could be merged; I prefer to avoid PPAs when
possible.
