Compiz enabled by turning on Desktop Effects.
When I use xrandr to rotate the screen from landscape to portrait the
screen is not refreshed display until I hit alt-tab, which then
refreshes the display. This means the the desktop appears to extend off
the screen until it is refreshed.
Rotating from portrait to landscape does not cause this problem.
