Please note that UXA on IvyBridge does not support vsync rendering... So the only way to get tear free rendering on UXA is with unredirected fullscreen libGL or libva video players. SNA on IvyBridge has vsync Xv support (both through the textured and overlay/sprite adaptors) - but compiz will
