Public bug reported:

Every few minutes, when performing some other function like checking for
new messages, my inbox will lose most of my email messages (showing only
emails from Jan 1, 2013 and earlier).

The next time I check for new mail, it will download the whole inbox
from the server. No emails seem to be lost in the transaction, but does
take some time to download the whole index of emails again each time -
and this happens very frequently.

I believe this is new, as of the 13.04 Ubuntu upgrade.
