fixes the 30 seconds wait for the gnome session logout dialog.

I'm experiencing the same with the gnome-panel logout button freezing X.
Changing to VT's restarts the X server, which I've been doing.
I'm using Gutsy up-to-date as of today, with Nautilus 1:2.19.2-0ubuntu2
and Gnome-Panel 1:2.19.2-0ubuntu3.
