The problem is still affecting me. I have no swap partition but at some
times computer starts lagging and disk start working as hell. top
command tells me chromium and kswapd usage is very high.

I'm running stable raring right now on SSD, and having this problem
daily. Can someone point me to a HOWTO/instructions to get the updated
kernel until it's available mainline?

To man
forgot to mention that the test was done with swap off. Also right
before the test I confirmed that the bug is still prezent with the
stable raring kernel (that the system becomes unresponsive and almost
hangs, u can barely move the mouse). After the new kernel was installed
and reboot, the problem

Also the system has a faster feel (and some of the apps as thunderbird
and android emulator seem to move faster)
