Public bug reported:

Bear with me, I'm on a non-english setup and switching languages had no
immediate effect. But I'll try to re-translate the menu entries as
accurately as possible ;)

Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty Fawn
System > Settings > Font (Setup?) (the one with "abc" icon)

Here one can select the fonts to display in applications, documents, desktop,
window titles, monospace...
PLUS one has 4 options for font anti-alias. Clicking on "Details" lets you
select the smoothening options via grayscale, subpixel etc plus subpixel
alignment and font hinting.

Now when I close this "Details" window, all 4 radio buttons in the initial
"Font Setup" window are highlighted (black and white, best shape, best
contrast, smoothening by subpixel).
When clicking on any of these radio buttons the remaining will be deactivated.
Returning (read re-advancing) to the "Details" window leaves me with all
options reset to default.
I think whatever I do in the main font setup window, the details window should
not be affected, even if those settings are not used (e.g. for black and white
font rendering).

Please let me know If you need any further details, I'm new to this
stuff ^_^
