No clue... I used to have gstreamer configured to use SDL as the default
output by error, and that's how I discovered this bug. Bug the SDL
output is not installed by default in Ubuntu. So I guess this bug won't
affect many people...

I'm not suffering from this anymore because I switched to XV output, but
I can confirm that the bug is still present when using SDL output.
