kernel BUG at /build/buildd/linux-3.5.0/fs/ext4/resize.c:385!
Looking at the Quantal kernel git tree, it looks like this is an issue
that should be fixed in the latest kernel (3.5.0-34.55 is currently in
-proposed) with the following upstream commit:
c5c72d814cf0f650010337c73638b25e6d14d2d4 ext4: fix online resizing for
ext3-compat file systems
I'm setting
Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer
to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest
v3.10 kernel[0].
If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following
tag 'kernel-fixed-upstream'.
If the mainline kernel does not fix
I will attempt testing with latest kernel shortly.

To manage
Unfortunately, I seem to have lost the ability to reproduce, even with
the original qcow2. I suspect there may have been external factors which
I'm not aware of causing this. Hopefully the backtrace is enough to take
a look.

The system is inoperable after the resize fails, and thus I cannot run
apport-collect on it. I can reliably reproduce the stack trace though.
