suppliers asking if they can maintain a list of their builds that are
fully tested with Ubuntu. I've offered to travel to their factories and
help with tests if needed. I've told them they can have their machines

This is something we would love to do. The problem is a stable data
source of machines. We will up-level the certified hardware as we have a
reliable, updated and comprehensive hardware list. Will be in new rev
(unless de-scoped :-) for the next revision of the site.

This is a bug in the OS.
Lack of an Ubuntu certified hardware list is nearly analogous to
releasing untested product. Testing/QA is not a marketing function.

Subscribed Daniel Dolinov, IMHO this is interesting for Canonical
Marketing.
My two cents, I would like to have it also in LoCo web sites. We should
set up a way to translate it and a notify system to know when somethings
changes.
