Gimp, invoked from the commandline with no arguments, fires this
assertion hundreds of times.

(gimp:10084): Gtk-WARNING **: Failed to load type module: (null)

`menu_proxy_module_load': gimp: undefined symbol: menu_proxy_module_load


When I do a gaussian blur, I see several like this:

`menu_proxy_module_load': /usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/blur-gauss:
undefined symbol: menu_proxy_module_load

(blur-gauss:10089): Gtk-WARNING **: Failed to load type module: (null)


There is no evident malfunction of gimp except that a programmer from the past 
is telling me that something is not as he thought it ought to be.
