I talked to design (John Lea). ALT+F2 was never meant to be part of the
Dash and shouldn't display previews at all. We'll need to special-case
it in Unity and in apps lens (command runner) so that LMB, RMB and
double click all activate the result.

Indeed, this is making alt + f2 not really usable for most people not
using enter or double click
