As noted, I have been running with `apic=debug` in order to boot past a
KP tied to my use of `notsc clocksource=acpi_pm`. I have not had any
indications of issues for five (5) days (gradually drifting clock,
occasional unresponsiveness to ping, CPU hard lock messages in dmesg),
so I'm leaning towar

Has now occurred with acpi_pm, however there is no log entry for a CPU
hard lock. System became unresponsive for ~7 minutes. Testing with
clocksource=acpi_pm set at boot, and we'll see if the results are the
same.

Preliminary results suggest no fix, but there's a hiccup:

That's nearly 8 minutes of lost time, with no other indication of a CPU
lock.
