I’d venture this was fixed when we switched to oxide for rendering.
Alan/Adnane, feel free to re-open if you can still observe the issue with
recent versions of the browser.

Actually i am seeing this using the HTML5 SDK, a simple -webkit-
transition will make the text blurry
