hidd is not supported anymore on Intrepid. You'll need to use the
pairing wizard to connect your mouse (which will use the appropriate
input service)

Confirmed and the workaround worked for me as well.
I think in general this goes back to Better bluetooth support overall.
gbtsco is great, but what would be even better is if the bluetooth
applet found and configured the headset itself.
